Winter Syahi

In a rich palette printed using plants & minerals, our ‘Winter Syahi’ collection is inspired by traditional block printing techniques. Syahi is a printing paste made from fermenting rusty horseshoes, nails or iron to create a ‘natural black’ dye. 

While fewer communities continue to work with natural ingredients, some still practice these traditional methods today.
